Portuguese PhD student sales her project about: Investigating the advantages and the potential of raising awareness among consumers in contributing to a sustainable seafood production and consumption in Portugal. * The project is half of time now. The work must be done between Portugal and Sweden. Trustful and helpful supervisors. Very nice colleagues. Methodologies used: - life cycle assessment, - online questionnaires, - statistics data analysis. Future work will be to finish the studies already planned: 1 - seafood consumption in Portugal; 2 - the environmental assessment of sardine production by the Portuguese purse seine fleet; 3 - the environmental assessment of different sardine products (frozen, can, fresh); 4 - consumer perception regarding sustainability of seafood consumption in Portugal.
