This artistic and one-of-its-kind animation aims to raise public awareness on environmental protection and invites the public to take part in conserving life on earth. It is currently airing on major TV channels in Greece, Cyprus and Turkey and is certain to captivate the audience through its poignant presentation of reality.
The filmʼs director, the young and talented animator, Thopis, created images of prehistory, the present, the uncertain future, the earth, the sea and the sky, in order to deliver MEDASSETʼs message to all: “Letʼs bridge the gap between man and nature! Letʼs return to origin for a better present and future!”.
Founded in 1988, MEDASSET is an international not for profit environmental NGO registered as a charity and private company in the UK and as a Non Profit Organisation in Greece. MEDASSET plays an active role in the study and conservation of sea turtles and their habitats throughout the Mediterranean, through scientific research, environmental education, political lobbying and raising public awareness. The organisation has been a Partner to the Mediterranean Action Plan (MAP) of UNEP and a Permanent Observer-member of the Bern Convention at the Council of Europe since 1988.
